Apple releases final Aperture SDK

The final version of the Aperture SDK has been released by Apple. The professional photo app’s Software Developer’s Kit allows developers to create custom plug-ins for Aperture 2.1, which was the first version of the Aperture software to introduce an open architecture for the application. There are already a handful of plug-ins available for Aperture, including Apple’s Dodge & Burn, Tiffen’s Dfx Digital Filter Suite, and a trio of plug-ins from Digital Film Tools. Instead of dealing with the serious issue at hand, alleged election overspending, the Con's are as usual pointing fingers at the Lib's and anyone else they can think of as a diversion. One of their favourite attack dogs, Pierre Poilievre apparently sees a conspiracy here. Ottawa-area Conservative Pierre Poilievre (PWAH'-lee-ehv) goes further, accusing Elections Canada of inviting the Liberal party to watch the raid unfold. Note to Petey. Thanks to brent3000 who posted this in our Back Page News forum, it seems Microsoft is permanently disabling the ability to receive Hotmail via Outlook Express from June 30th. The software giant recommended via email to its DAV protocol users, the free Windows Live Mail desktop utility as an alternative.
