I think politics and back door techniques play a major role in digg.com rather than the merit of news articles. Many of friends (and me too) used to wonder why when articles, however good they are, are submitted by us never get any diggs. (hardly 5 or 6) but whereas articles apparently not that good had 100-rds of diggs.That is when we realized

Variety reports "news" on a possible sequel to 300 without crediting Collider.com who snagged the scoop. Cinematical calls bullshit a) on Variety stealing the story and b) the reality of this sequel coming any time soon.
